Registration is now open for Female Student-Athlete Forum

Parkview Sports Medicine is hosting its second annual Female Athlete Forum for middle- and high school female athletes on Sunday, Nov. 2.
Those who attend will hear advice from headline speaker Lindsay Roth, head volleyball coach, Blackhawk Christian High School, on how young athletes can balance athletics, school and family life. Participants can also choose to attend two of three informational sessions, including:

·         Injury prevention for the female athlete – Maren Parent, MPT, ATC, CSCS
·         Sports nutrition for the female athlete – Julia Just, RD
·         Concussion prevention for the female athlete – Carla Bystricky, MD, Parkview Physicians Group – Pediatrics

Additionally, guests can:

·         Meet and talk with Parkview Sports Medicine staff members
·         Check out athletic apparel from local businesses
·         Enjoy delicious, healthy refreshments


DATE: Sunday, Nov. 2
TIME: 2 – 4:30 p.m., doors open at 1:30 p.m.
LOCATION: Parkview Corporate Office, 10501 Corporate Drive, Fort Wayne
COST: FREE
